LED signals
Find the complete mapping of colours and lighting patterns in the LED colour legend.
- Red pulsing, entire ring: An error occurred. Check the details in the app.
- Red pulsing, top: The dirt filter is clogged. Clean it and reset the message in the app.
- White pulsing: Recovery mode; the Wi-Fi credentials have been deleted.
App error messages
| Message | Meaning | Next step |

| Device unreachable | No connection between cloud and device | Check power and Wi-Fi |
| Sensor fault | No valid sensor data | Check sensor and data cable |
| Filter maintenance required | The filter needs cleaning | Clean the filter and reset the reminder |
| Firmware update failed | The update was not fully transferred | Retry with a stable Wi-Fi connection |
Factory reset
A factory reset only removes Wi-Fi credentials stored on the device. Cloud configuration such as cistern settings and refill thresholds is retained once you connect the device to Wi-Fi again. To remove all data, also delete the device in the myCistern cloud.
