Inspecting and cleaning the level sensor
Inspect and clean the level sensor every few months. No other routine maintenance is required.
Check the installation position
Make sure the sensor is still hanging freely and is not resting in sediment or other contamination. Keep at least 5 cm between the sensor capsule and the bottom of the tank.
Clean the level sensor
- Carefully remove the sensor from the cistern.
- Rinse the sensor capsule under clean, running water.
- Flush the openings at the front of the capsule as well.
- Return the sensor to its intended position.
Warning
Do not use a pressure washer. High water pressure can damage the sensitive membrane inside the sensor capsule. Clean, running water is sufficient.
